This project started as an all original 1955 T-Bird that we were simply going to
restore.   When the owner realized the extent of the deterioration to the body, 
floor, and the chassis,  he decided to modify the entire chassis and drivetrain.
We started with an Art  Morrison chassis with a new motor and transmission.
When finished,  this car will be a 1955 all-metal  Thunderbird on a full frame
chassis with a 1999 Mustang Cobra SVT aluminum engine and a six-speed
 tranny.  The interior will be very original, but will include features like power
 windows and cruise control.
